Omega Health Status Test Kits

Confirm your omega-3 levels are at the proper levels needed to reduce the risk of sudden cardiac death and a variety of other serious ailments.

Studies show that inadequate levels of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid), DPA (Docosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) are a very strong indicator of enhanced risk for sudden cardiac death, all-cause mortality and cognitive deterioration with aging.

Your test results will show your OmegaScore®; a summed percentage of the long-chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA, DPA, and DHA as a percentage of the total fatty methyl esters as measured in your whole blood sample, so you can make adjustments to your diet or suppliment regimen if needed for your health.

First, the corresponding laboratory has to receive your collected sample before they can process it. As mailing times can vary depending on your location, this may take between 2-5 days. Once received, your samples are processed the same or next day, and your results should be available online and sent via e-mail shortly thereafter.
