DHA/AA Breast Milk Test Kit
Studies have shown that proper levels of omega-3 fatty acids DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) in breast milk improve performance in the neurobehavioral functioning and visual acuity amongst infants, while AA (Arachidonic Acid) is essential for optimal infant growth, brain development and overall health.
Your test results will indicate your current breast milk DHA levels and where they fall within recommended ranges, as well as your AA percentage of fatty acids as compared to averages – so you can make adjustments if needed to increase your levels for the health of your child.
Cost Per Test: $99.00
This Test Measures:
Your OmegaScore™ test measures the long chain omega-3 fatty acids DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and AA (Arachidonic Acid) from the sample provided as a percentage of the total fatty acids measured in your breast milk sample.
Testing Sample Required:
This test requires just a few drops of breast milk for analysis, which can be manually expressed or collected via pump into any clean receptacle, then transferred to the included sample collection card where indicated.

Breast Milk Omega-3 Test FAQ
Orders are processed the same or next day from Southern Ontario and should arrive between 2-5 business days via Canada Post depending on your location.
First, the corresponding laboratory has to receive your collected sample before they can process it. As mailing times can vary depending on your location, this may take between 2-5 days. Once received, your samples are processed the same or next day, and your results should be available online and sent via e-mail shortly thereafter.
Two or three drops on each pad is usually more than enough. The pads should be almost if not entirely moist from the sample you’ve added, but not over-saturated to the point where the milk is ‘pooling’ on top or running onto the card outside of the sample areas.
